Emergency Dentistry for Existing Patients

Serving Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Henderson, Nevada

At Drs. Bryson and Margio Dentistry, we understand that our patients’ dental problems don’t always wait until business hours on a weekday. And when something goes wrong with your teeth, it’s rarely wise to wait for the next available appointment time.

That’s why our Las Vegas emergency dentists are available to help our existing patients in their time of need. We offer emergency services to our existing patients who have suffered significant issues after our normal hours.

If you are an existing patient and have suffered a dental emergency and you need to speak with our Las Vegas emergency dentist immediately, please call Drs. Bryson and Margio Dentistry at 702-445-7075 as soon as possible.

Types of Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies tend to fall into two broad categories:

  • Cosmetic: When the appearance of your smile is negatively affected by the sudden and unexpected failure of some cosmetic dentistry work, our Las Vegas emergency dentists can address the problem. Common examples include chipped or broken teeth, dental crowns and porcelain veneers.
  • Pain: You might also be suffering from a dental emergency that causes more pain than it does aesthetic distress. Severe toothaches caused by decay or rot are common examples, as are problems caused by sudden trauma to the teeth.

Whatever the specific nature of your problems, our Las Vegas emergency dentists understand how to address these incidents. If you’re in a great deal of pain, our main priority will be finding the cause of your distress, relieving your pain and treating the problem so that you can go about your life until a more conventional dental appointment is possible. In certain circumstances we might even be able to provide the full treatment your problem requires at the time of your visit.

What To Do in Case of a Dental Emergency

While every case is unique, in most cases you can do a lot to keep the situation under control by taking a few simple steps. These include:

  • Cleaning the area if you’ve suffered cuts or lacerations to your lips or tongue
  • Bringing any broken or failed dental work with you to the dentist’s office
  • Keeping hold of any tooth fragments
  • If you’ve lost a tooth, try to slide it back in to the socket. If this is impossible, place it in a glass of milk and bring it with you.

And above all else, stay calm. Dr. Bryson and Dr. Margio can help, provided you clearly explain the situation.

Again, if you are an existing patient suffering from a dental emergency and would like to speak with us immediately, please call Drs. Bryson and Margio Dentistry at 702-445-7075 as soon as possible.
